Contact: Nancy Miller, 507-280-3590 Rochester, Minn. - The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) will host a public information meeting on Monday, May 21, 2007, regarding a draft air emissions permit for a proposed expansion of AB Environmental Inc. of Henderson. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Gaylord Courthouse, 400 Court Avenue, in Gaylord. AB Environmental proposes to expand its existing Henderson-based operation to include thermal treatment of creosote-contaminated soil. The purpose of the meeting is to share information about the proposed project and invite interested parties to submit comments. The draft air permit for AB Environmental is currently on public notice and comments on it will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on June 5, 2007. Written comments received before the comment period closes will become part of the public record for this project. Copies of the draft AB Environmental air emissions permit are available on the MCPA Web site at www.pca.state.mn.us. Draft permits will also be mailed upon written request.
