Test Drive an All-Electric Vehicle

Drive Electric Minnesota helps get Minnesota ready for electric vehicles.

The Keetac facility still needs two more permits relating to wetlands, one from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and one from the MPCA.

The reports are for the Little Fork, Pomme de Terre and Sauk River watersheds.

The meeting will be held at the MPCA's St. Paul office, at 520 Lafayette Road N., on Sept. 13, 2011, starting at 9:00 a.m.

The haze is most likely from the Pagami Creek fire, near Ely.

The owner allegedly violated solid waste laws by disposing of concrete, plastic and other materials in ponds at his gravel pit facility.

The EAW is open for public review and comment through Oct. 5, 2011.

Comments must be in writing and arrive at the MPCA by 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 5, 2011.

A public comment period begins Aug. 29, and continues through Sept. 28, 2011.

The penalty agreement also requires the companies to submit specific plans on how they will ensure compliance with the permit and prevent reoccurrence of the violations in the future.
