- Breakout session 1
- 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.: GSR (Green and Sustainable Remediation) Primer Training — ITRC Training Team. This session will provide a condensed version of the ITRC GSR Internet-Based Training. The training session is applicable to any user in any remedial program.
- 10:20 – 11:30 a.m.: GSR for Petroleum Remediation — Chris McLain, Rebecca Bourdon and Sarah Larsen. This session will provide MPCA Petroleum Remediation Program-specific application of GSR techniques and present the new GSR guidance (PRP GD 1-10).
- Breakout session 2
- 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.: EPA Region V Green Remediation Policy and Training — Brad Bradley and Jon Peterson. This session will be a presentation by EPA Region V with specific strategy, policy, elements and examples. Applicable to any remedial program.
- 10:20 – 11:30 a.m.: GSR Policy Discussion Panel — MPCA moderator Cathy Moeger, American Petroleum Institute, Petrofund Representative, MPCA, Parkway Law, St. Paul Port Authority Representative, Gnarus Advisors. This session will be a discussion of policy developments, incentives and challenges of implementing GSR concepts in cleanup projects.

- Breakout session 1
- 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.: SiteWise™ and Sustainable Remediation Tool (SRT) Training — Carolyn Scala, Battelle Memorial Institute Sriram Madhabushi, Booz, Allen, Hamilton. This session will provide training on the SiteWise and SRT tools designed and created by the US Navy and AFCEE. These tools are specifically designed to assist with quantifying environmental impact metrics. Applicable to all remedial programs. Bring a laptop pre-loaded with the SiteWise and SRT programs — SiteWise™. The Sustainable Remediation Tool (SRT) link is being updated to reflect the new Air Force Civil Engineer Center website.
- 2:15 – 3:00 p.m.: GSR Case Studies — Tim Grape and Chris Carleo, AECOM; Kevin Lienau, GES. This session will demonstrate real world implementation of GSR into remedial site work. Applicable to all remedial programs.

- 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.: National and Internationall GSR Perspectives — Dr. Daniel Watts, Arasoc Group – representing SURF US, John Simon, Gnarus Advisors LLC – representing ASTM International Task Group E.50. This session will present national and international GSR standards and tool development, including GSR progress here and abroad in the EU, Australia and China.
- 2:15 – 3:00 p.m.: Corporate Sustainability Initiative Presentations — Local Contractors/Vendors (to be determined). This session will provide examples of corporate sustainability plans, incentives and marketability of GSR at various consulting firms, laboratories and industry affiliates, including Green Chemistry practices in Minnesota.
