The MPCA library provides access to environmental information for agency employees, external professionals, and the public. The collection includes MPCA publications as well as books, reports, and journals about pollution, the environment, climate, recycling, and more.

The collection includes MPCA publications as well as books, reports, and journals about pollution, the environment, climate, recycling, and more. All loans must be done via the interlibrary loan (ILL) system.

Library services

  • Providing information about the library collection
  • Prompt response to questions within the scope of the MPCA’s collection
  • Referrals to other collections when the answer isn’t within the scope of the MPCA’s collection

NOTE: We do not loan library materials directly to individuals. All loans must be done via the interlibrary loan (ILL) system and you will need to make your item request through your public, college, or special library.

The public is welcome to use the MPCA library resources on site. Public access to the library is by appointment only. Contact library staff at library.pca@state.mn.us to set up an appointment.
