MPCA Citizens' Board Meetings: Agenda, Schedule and Meeting Information

Board and Committee Meetings are held in the Board Room on the Lower Level of the MPCA's offices located at 520 Lafayette Road North in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Regular Board Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Meetings commence at 9:00 a.m. Special Board Meetings are held when called by the Chair or Vice Chair when a meeting is necessary or desirable. Committee Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month.

Agenda Item Schedules

Board intends to adhere to the scheduled time limits for each listed agenda item. Agenda available 10 days prior to Board meeting. Contact the MPCA Commissioner's Office at 651-757-2025 to be added to mailing list.

Submitting an Agenda Item

To submit an item for appearance on the MPCA Citizens' Board meeting agenda, options include:

• Contact agency staff to let them know you are interested in placing an item on the agenda.
• Contact one of the MPCA Citizens' Board members to request having issue heard before the Board. If a Board member agrees to placing the item on the agenda, that member would contact the MPCA Commissioner.
• Contact the MPCA Commissioner's Office at 651-757-2025 and request that the item be placed on the agenda.

The Commissioner has the final say as to whether or not an item appears on the agenda.

Submitting Written Comments

Persons can provide written comments or information to Board members and Commissioner five days in advance of meeting. Written material not served five days before a Board meeting may not be considered by the Board. Contact the Board Administrator for Board members' addresses to mail written material. Provide 20 copies of written material to Board Administrator at the meeting.

Oral Presentations

Contact the Board Administrator for permission to speak on an issue before the Board or sign up to speak while in attendance at meeting.

Other

Anyone who intends to file written comments on or exceptions to an administrative law judge's report for an agenda item must comply with Minn. R. 7000.2000, subps. 1 and 2, if it pertains to a matter for which a contested case hearing has been held, or with Minn. R. 7000.0650, subp. 6. B., if it pertains to a matter for which a rulemaking hearing has been held.
